She convinced her to go see the doctor and guess what? She ended up being diagnosed with breast cancer. Fortunately, she is doing well now --- thanks to early detection! That being said, I'm going to make an appointment with the doc. ;)Turtle Beadhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09737948603698747775noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2890748987094347385.post-7366785112158861392010-04-07T21:51:29.768-07:002010-04-07T21:51:29.768-07:00Great shop find!

But get it checked if it doesn't go away or get better in a couple of days.TheFrogBaghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06829641134331952750noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2890748987094347385.post-54957894449466605062010-04-07T20:58:58.903-07:002010-04-07T20:58:58.903-07:00Call me crazy, but I think you should have it chec...Call me crazy, but I think you should have it checked. I would probably do like you said and observe it for a week, but it could be anything from a tumor (benign or malignant) to a simple ingrown hair. Hope you're okay! Keep us posted!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06724466519815382921noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2890748987094347385.post-14470785178139587672010-04-07T20:32:03.115-07:002010-04-07T20:32:03.115-07:00Sophine: it's actually under my skin - that...Sophine: it's actually under my skin - that's what freaks me out even more. My fiance's aunt told me I should wait to see if it grows.

Suse: Yea I wish I could go to the doctor for free! I haven't gone to the doctor for a long time because I was unable to afford it. Pretty sad to say especially since I needed to go for several preventative procedures for endometrial cancer. My OBGYN at one point was very concerned and I had several biopsies, (all negative) but I couldn't afford it anymore.

It had to do with the fact that I had too much estrogen and my progesterone levels were not where they were supposed to be. Apparently having too much estrogen can be dangerous and can eventually lead to cancer.

I'm going to give it a week or so I think. It would probably take me that long anyway to get onto the doctor's schedule.Turtle Beadhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09737948603698747775noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2890748987094347385.post-69401119792149826342010-04-07T02:47:49.604-07:002010-04-07T02:47:49.604-07:00Well, here in Australia, I guess we are lucky in t...Well, here in Australia, I guess we are lucky in that we can go to a doctor for free...so if you were here and a resident, I would say, sure go to the doc (which I am doing tomorrow to have a mole removed)...but I don't know what they charge over where you are...still I would err on the side of caution myself.Susehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01583249394000132838noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2890748987094347385.post-31865917558385746922010-04-07T02:19:11.527-07:002010-04-07T02:19:11.527-07:00Don't worry, you are not alone, I am a hypocho...Don't worry, you are not alone, I am a hypochondriac too. I prefer to google for info rather than rely totally on the doctor's advice or diagnose. The same goes to my pet dogs! I will google and research on their symptoms, armed myself with many info before seeing the vet.

Not sure is it the same, but I have a friend who has a similar painful lump under her armpit and it didn't subside for 2 months! She consulted a doctor and was told that it was an undergrowth pimple! The doctor just did a surgical cut to drain out the pus, and it healed by itself!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
